Strain Origin
Tidal Wave, the unstable cross between Penis Envy & B+ was developed by a mycologist named "Doma", and is the parent of the cauliflower-like Brainiac and Enigma strains. Mycologists can have a lot of fun working with this strain, once they get used to its bizarre & unique properties. There are few strains as rewarding as this one, which is why it's a part of our Advanced 5-Pack. Warning: Tidal Wave is a highly potent mushroom containing psilocybin. Do not attempt to propagate these spores, as they are intended for microscopy only.
Difficulty
Tidal is considered one of the more challenging, yet rewarding strains to work with & research. For context, it is on a similar level to Penis Envy, and is much harder than Golden Teacher or B+. Tidal wave is the parent to enigma & brainiac mushrooms, which adds to its complexity.
Spore Features
The spores of Tidal Wave mushrooms are dark purplish to black, and sub ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. Caps are generally dark spore printers and 40-60mm in diameter. This strain provides ample research material.
Rarity
Tidal Wave is a rare strain, and is quite difficult to find with true purity. Many vendors will give you unviable spores or the wrong strain all together in an attempt to trick you & offload unwanted inventory.
