Please note: This is a seasonal product. Our live spawn is sourced from our local co-op of gourmet mycologists. Our gourmet and medicinal live spawn is in season from March 1st to June 30th, and ships within 3 days of purchase. From July 1st to September 30th we typically have a 10-14 day lead time on live spawn orders as local supplies are limited at these times. Live spawn orders placed after September 30th will be placed on our pre-order list and will ship the following spring.

This Shiitake strain has a slight advantage in environments with warmer fruiting temperatures. Spawn run may be faster than other wide range strains in areas where summers are prone to dry spells or logs cannot be irrigated. Fruiting temp range 55-75°F. It is also slightly more drought tolerant than other Warm Climate strains, and shows a slight preference for red oak over white oak. Fruits naturally in the spring and fall.

Our spore syringe products are contaminant free, as they are assembled in an ISO 7 Clean Room. If you received a contaminated syringe, please email us at support@edenshrooms.com immediately.
