Looking for Puerto Rican Spore Syringes? You've landed in the right spot! This variety originated from a town called Canovanas which is on the northeast side of Puerto Rico. It is great for researchers of all levels. It is common for the veil to leave remnants on the cap and stem once it tears.
Features
Sub-ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia, purple to brownish spores. Caps are usually 50mm and more rarely being smaller.
